God Is Within Her, She Will Not Fall

October 18, 2026

There are moments as a business owner when everything feels uncertain.

You're building.

You're growing.

You're learning.

You're making decisions you've never had to make before.

You're moving into rooms you've never entered before.

You're solving problems you've never encountered before.

And if you're building something from the ground up, especially something that no one in your family has done before, it can feel incredibly lonely.

There is no roadmap.

No instruction manual.

No family member who can tell you exactly what to do because they've walked the path ahead of you.

Instead, you're relying on the knowledge you've accumulated, the lessons you're learning in real time, and the wisdom you're gathering through experience.

Some days that feels exciting.

Other days it feels terrifying.

Because while you're trying to build something meaningful, you're also carrying responsibility.

Responsibility for your clients.

Responsibility for your team.

Responsibility for your family.

Responsibility for yourself.

And if we're honest, that's enough to create anxiety for even the strongest among us.

I often wonder how people navigate this journey without faith.

Because there are simply too many moments where logic alone isn't enough.

Too many moments where spreadsheets don't have the answer.

Too many moments where experience doesn't exist because you're doing something for the first time.

Too many moments where the outcome is unclear.

In those moments, I have learned that I have two choices.

I can lean into fear.

Or I can lean into faith.

But I cannot do both.

Fear and faith cannot occupy the same seat.

When fear starts whispering questions like:

"What if this doesn't work?"

"What if you fail?"

"What if you let people down?"

"What if you're not good enough?"

I have to make a deliberate decision about which voice I'm going to listen to.

And that's where this small keepsake comes in.

My Black Diamond sisters gifted me a beautiful crystal heart engraved with a scripture that has become an anchor for me:

"God is within her, she will not fall."

Psalm 46:5.

That heart sits where I can see it.

Sometimes I hold it in my hand during difficult days.

Sometimes I simply glance at it and breathe.

Because the message isn't that life will be easy.

The message isn't that obstacles won't come.

The message isn't that fear will never appear.

The message is that when life becomes uncertain, I don't stand alone.

As women, many of us carry a quiet fear of falling.

Falling short.

Failing publicly.

Making the wrong decision.

Disappointing the people counting on us.

Losing what we've worked so hard to build.

And when you're a founder, a CEO, an entrepreneur, a caregiver, or simply someone striving to create a better life, those fears can feel overwhelming.

What faith continually reminds me is that my calling was never to know everything.

My calling was to trust.

To take the next step.

To seek wisdom.

To remain teachable.

To act with integrity.

To surrender the outcomes I cannot control.

The reality is that building anything worthwhile requires uncertainty.

Every entrepreneur feels it.

Every leader feels it.

Every person pursuing growth feels it.

The difference is what we do when uncertainty arrives.

Do we retreat into fear?

Or do we move forward in faith?

For me, faith doesn't eliminate the challenges.

It eliminates the belief that I must face them alone.

So if you're in a season where you're building, stretching, growing, or navigating something unfamiliar, I want to encourage you.

Take a breath.

Give yourself grace.

Remember how far you've already come.

And if fear has started to creep into places where it doesn't belong, remember this:

You don't have to have all the answers to take the next step.

You don't have to see the entire path to move forward.

You don't have to carry every burden on your own.

Hold on to your faith.

Hold on to your purpose.

Hold on to the One who called you.

And trust that if God has brought you this far, He is not finished with your story.

"God is within her, she will not fall." (Psalm 46:5)

And neither will you.
